Woow, do you see that all the time? Maybe it's temporary rendering problem.
I have no idea what can cause such problems.

Yes thats what i see all the time but some browsers dont show the box at all
I cannot replicate your problem. (tested in Firefox, IE 6, IE 7, Opera and Safari)
Do you have some plugins installed?
What about mybb default theme? Do you have the same problem with default theme?

Hmm, every plugin which requires replacing default files is a bad plugin.

Now i removed it as it didn't really work for me. I think this is what may have caused the problem.
It does it in the default theme aswell
it is about javascript code in header!
you did something with jcodes???
or you added any javacodes in header or newthread?????????????
