smilie field gets messed up

Nice smilies you have here IvGeo!
I wanted to implement them also to my 1.4.1 board,but experienced problems.

The smilie field extends unnormally,is not symmetric al all - the distances from the textfield and left border are different,as the pic 1 shows (see arrows)

You don't have this problem as i see. The smiliefield is well proportional placed

How can i resolve this?

I tryed to activate 5 columns of smilies and this messed up the smilie field: the additional smilies appeard half hidden behind the message field - not to mention the proportional problem that occurs (pic 1)

Perhaps a vertical resize of the text field - or moving it more to the right - would solve the problem. But i don't know where to hack for both ways.

The problems appear in situations when a user has to write something - composing new pm,by full new reply and writing new thread .

I like the way how the top is rounded and the bottom is smaller and rounded. I know theres a code to only get the tom rounded but is there a way to get the category shadows like on there?

A simple pink theme which I need porting to MyBB. It's on iPB but I'm sure you can do it in no time.

The menu, don't use images that back, just use small text images which say Calender, Help, Members, etc...

Everything else I want the same as ipb, ie. text size for everything, layout, post layouts, thread layouts, and the mod team, top 20 posters and stuff the same.

I understand if you don't have time, but it would be greatly appreciated.

The root directory for the location of the images used in this theme. Note that this only specifies the directory for the images used in templates, not the stylesheets ??

Board Logo
Location of the board logo used in this theme (this is the logo that appears at the top of each page) ??

So MyBB 1.4 gold was released, what do you think about stability, user experience,...?

I can only say, I am not that impressed. I mean from admin point of view it is a big improvement, but for the average Joe it is the same old experience.

It should be MyBB 1.4 RC1, it is not stable enough.

Theme editing is the main problem. I can't customize it and that sucks. http://community.mybboard.net/thread-34598.html

and what about those small/silent updates in download packages, every time I download MyBB 1.4 gold something is changed. (difference in size of the zip packages)

Tikitiki is my favorite MyBB mascot. Fixing 1 bug results with 2 new bug. :)

I'm a noob at myBB

I'm a noob and need some help. This is my first foray into making a template for a myBB forum and am a little stumped. I am trying to create the rounded corners for the page container and not having any luck. Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? I thought my first step should be modifying an existing template so that I can get familiar with the process, so I am modifying the AdminBlue template found at mybboard.net and created by FireFoxWiz. I created the 4 imagaes I need to round the corners, but I can't get them to display at all. Here is the content of my Additional CSS section:

Hey IV Geo, how ya been? Well I decided to redesign my site and made a mock up:

You can check my progress by going here, and the theme is psparody. The last thing i tired to do was add rounded corners to the content container. However, they agree with the padding of (or whatever it is) which makes the rounded corners display inside. I dont know why but I find HTML and CSS very stressing :abuse: lol. I looked at the tut you posted in firewiz's thread but am unsure about where to put the 's. Once this is sorted I can do the toplinks (which I will probably need more help for :P). It has been a long time since I showed you something new and interesting. I have been busy (overwhelmed by work), and I hadn’t had the time nor the energy to do anything in my spare time.
I finally started working on one of my unfinished designs and here I am….
Without furder delay I present you new concept theme named “Casper`d Clean Theme”.
