SMF is also good but without security .. i like MyBB and thanx alot " ivgeo " for ur twick to add background image in post. Thank You

in my opinion smf is more secure than mybb, actually that is the only + for SMF.
And maybe 1 click upgrade.

I got hacked using smf.

Although, thankfully it was some jackass who decided to e-mail me and I managed to login before they messed up anything. (that's how i moved to MyBB)

You got hacked? Woow, I heard something similar, but I couldn't believe it.

So SMF is vulnerable like any other script. I didn't know that.

My only experience, something I was bombing myself because I generally use the same word for all my sites.

I've noticed alot of scripts tend to get hacked, a friend had trouble with mybb and loads have complained about phpBB especially in the past. Smf's seems to be quite good, just didn't resure me enough to keep using it.

lol thats exactly what i found and read, however my knowledge in CSS and html is very limited.
