RE: The background image.
Thanks and marry Christmas to you!
Out of curiosity, what do you use now instead mybb? oxygen Wrote:No longer using MyBB, sadly to many bugs(clashing plugins) but thank you for the pic, its what I came here for! ivgeo is the best! "Freedom is irrelevant. Resistance is futile." -- Borg Collective |

RE: The background image.
in my opinion smf is more secure than mybb, actually that is the only + for SMF.
And maybe 1 click upgrade.

ivgeo Wrote:in my opinion smf is more secure than mybb, actually that is the only + for SMF.I got hacked using smf. Although, thankfully it was some jackass who decided to e-mail me and I managed to login before they messed up anything. (that's how i moved to MyBB) I won't hi-jack this

RE: The background image.
You got hacked? Woow, I heard something similar, but I couldn't believe it.
So SMF is vulnerable like any other script. I didn't know that. "Freedom is irrelevant. Resistance is futile." -- Borg Collective |

RE: The background image.
My only experience, something I was bombing myself because I generally use the same word for all my sites.
I've noticed alot of scripts tend to get hacked, a friend had trouble with mybb and loads have complained about phpBB especially in the past. Smf's seems to be quite good, just didn't resure me enough to keep using it. ~Joey |
