Need forum not shown on index, but live still

I need a category and all its forums to be live, but not visible on the index of the entire websites forums.

is this possible?

like so:

Category: Entertainment
- Forum: Movies
- Forum: Games
Category: Marketplace (not seen from index but still there)
- Forum: Domains
- Forum: Websites

So that I can link to that area in my navigation instead of it being show on the index, I hope this is possible..

If I understand you correctly I don't think this is possible.

I mean you can play with permission system for that category, but I think this is not what you are asking.
You can set specific group permissions for some category/forum, but only users in that usergroup would see it.
