I hope they'll improve the whole skin look when they go further, for now what has come about within the live beta is good enough. I don't really like the above one :/

i like that skin more that the normal default skin xD, the 1.2.13 default skins it's ugly

That would be far better than the "hype of Prosilver of phpBB", I'd even go as far as saying it would look 120% better. (which it would)

regarding custom designs, hmm you have Audentio.com for that
i decided not to waste any time on custom designs (i have very limited free time and why waste it on something non profitable)
