Have you tried Google Wave?
Tonight, me and a group of friends decided to do a history worksheet using Google Wave. We started a new "wave" and typed up the questions from the worksheet. A couple of us worked on one question and a couple worked on another until the whole thing was finished. It was really an amazing experience - being able to so easily bounce off ideas and provide input. You can all edit each other's work too. I think this program is going to revolutionize the way people collaborate online... the material felt so much more engaging and I was actually interested in providing thorough, correct answers! It didn't feel like busy work, but more of a fun group project. God, I actually understand the material!!! I miss this feeling. Have you guys tried it out yet? Any success stories?

RE: Have you tried Google Wave?
I tried it, but not so extensively like you did.
To be honest I don't see what's all the fuss about. IM like many other IMs out there. And google wave is so unfinished, many features missing or not implemented yet. I don't know, I probably expected too much of it. "Freedom is irrelevant. Resistance is futile." -- Borg Collective |
