Few Issues:

1. can you make sure the header is the same size as the joomla theme so that when i put them on the site they look exactly the same.

2. the text - mainly the header - is big and bloated

1. I don't have joomla so I cant confirm that
but I see no differences in firefox and IE between mybb theme and http://www.webrevolution.info/joomla/freestyle/
2. What header text? You mean toplinks? You can change font size yourself. (btw I changed it a bit, so it looks the same)
